Gene Campaign is promoting fodder cultivation to help alleviate the problem of green fodder in the area specially in the winter to pre-monsoon season when green fodder is not available. We have also established fodder demonstration at the GC farm at SimayalOrakha
Demonstration plots contain the following planting materials: BN Hybrid Napier; African Tall Maize; Kudzu; Ouns (Green fodder); Hybrid Napier
Apart from demonstrations, Gene Campaign has distributed planting materials of Napier grass and Jai grass to 35 farmers in Gajar, Chaukhuta, Simayal, Buribana, Gargaun, Meura and Nathuwakhan of Dhari and Ramgarh Blocks.
